Collaborations – Choreography and Music Composition
STRUT Dance and Tura New Music present the next level of collaboration programs for choreographers and composers. Australian choreographer Stephanie Lake continues her three-year partnership with STRUT as choreographic leader, and joining her is longtime musical partner and composer Robin Fox. Together they will design a dynamic mix of assignments, speed dates and developments to equip choreographers and composers with tools in how to communicate and collaborate across disciplines.
Composers will work throughout the week with Robin and Stephanie on further developing skills in sound design and composition for dance, within the context of the theatre.
Tura is offering 10 scholarships valued at $250 each. To secure a place in the week-long workshop, culminating in a showing on the 7th of October, please send EOI’s and any queries to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: Robin Fox Workshop.
