____
James Bradbury’s work investigates the aesthetic and technical aspects of sophisticated computing techniques that result in either partial or full autonomy for an electronic agent in music. He approaches this from a perspective as a researcher and artist, drawing on existing fields of human computer interaction, interaction design theory, psychology and his own observations.
Dan O’Connor is a trumpet player and improvisor, and member of orphans, Lee/Jacobs/O’Connor, ßß (eszetts), Solar Barge Big Band, Breaking Waves and Gerygone amongst numerous other collaborative projects. He is the initiator of the Tone List label and curates the Outlines series for new collaborations in improvised music, and the Residence series, inviting performers to explore a specific part of their practice in his studio over a number of consecutive concert evenings.
