Perth Concert Hall

With a new program, new artists and a new itinerary, the 2017 Echo Tour presents exciting new cross-cultural music and performance.

The culmination of Tura New Music’s 2017 Echo Tour across the Kimberley, Kimberley Echoes at the Perth Concert Hall brings together Indigenous musical icons Mark Atkins, Stephen Pigram and Bart Willoughby with some of Australia’s finest instrumentalists as the Narli Ensemble, Erkki Veltheim (violin), Stephen Magnusson (guitar), Tristen Parr (cello) and Tos Mahoney (flute).

Throughout the Regional Tour, local artists are invited to collaborate and create with the touring artists. Joining in this finale concert will be special guests from across the Kimberley: storyteller and Warmun artist Gabriel Nodea, singer songwriter Naomi Pigram (Broome), Paul Boon on didgeridoo (Broome), and “voice of the Kimberley” John Bennett (Bidyadanga).

9:15pm on level 2, Terrace Level
Perth Concert Hall
Please join us after the concert for refreshments with the artists, as an opportunity to celebrate the 2017 Echo Tour.
