Tura’s founder, Artistic Director and CEO, Tos Mahoney has played a pivotal role in the experimental music and cultural sector in Australia over the last 35 years. Starting Evos, the predecessor of Tura in 1987, he has contributed as both an artist/musician and a producer during that time. Tos’s role as Artistic Director, curator and arts advocate has seen the initiation and roll out of a whole raft of projects and programs across Australia and internationally.

Mallika has 20+ years experience in community development, arts administration, disability services, venue management, systemic advocacy and governance at state and national level. Mallika is a keen supporter of young/emerging leaders in any industry, and is committed to respectful succession planning that acknowledges those who came before and the potential of those who will take bold steps into the future.

Originally engaging with Tura as a performer locally and regionally, Tristen now holds the position of Producer. A broad skill set both on and off the stage, Tristen curates, develops, presents, and tours new work and existing programs. He works closely with artists and creatives providing artistic and technical support to fully realise work and create engaging and meaningful experiences.

Jane has extensive experience in not-for-profit governance, HR and business support services gained across cultural, social and sporting sectors both in Australia and overseas. Jane holds a BA in Languages, a Diploma in Writing and Editing, and is also a qualified English language teacher.

Sian is an experienced arts marketing and communications professional across the independent and organisational arts sector. Her background in performance making assists artists and organisations to create meaningful and accessible communications that connect and engage with new and existing audiences.

Medeia has over 20 years of experience galvanising creative people and arts organisations to realise big visions and achieve seemingly unattainable goals. With a reputation for building powerful networks and facilitating impactful partnerships, Medeia is an adept relationship specialist able to connect, collaborate and excite key stakeholders and supporters.

Pauline has a strong interest in Culture & the Arts and finance.This has led to a career as a freelance bookkeeper/BAS agent to various arts companies and small businesses. Pauline has been working in the accounts industry for over 20 years and enjoys being surrounded with the creativity that the Arts sector brings.

Annika is a sound artist with an eclectic and genre-diverse practice. She performs under the monikers Nika Mo, Great Statue, and contributes to the local ecology of experimental sound both as an individual and as a co-director of Tone List label. Annika facilitates sound-based creative projects with Martu, Gija, Bunuba, Gooniyandi and Walmatjarri language groups.
