A Touch of the Kimberley in Margaret River

On Saturday 21 January Cullen Wines in Wilyabrup hosted a wonderful evening supporting Tura’s Regional Program. It was a fantastic night with music from the Kimberley by Stephen Pigram (guitar/vocals), Mark Atkins (didgeridoo), Stephen Magnusson (guitar), Tristen Parr (cello) and Tura’s Artistic Director Tos Mahoney (flute) in the Cullen Winery barrel room overlooking the vines. The concert was followed by an exquisite three course meal, sourced from the garden, with matching Cullen wines.

A warm thank you to Cullen Wines for hosting such a superb event. Cullen Wines have written a short reflection on the evening here: http://bit.ly/2jDQAc5

The evening was a hugely successful fundraiser for Tura’s Next30 Campaign which encourages awareness of new music and sonic arts in Australia. Supporting this means Tura can work hard developing emerging artists and commissioning new works, culturally enriching the lives of all Australians, in particular those living in remote northern Western Australia.
