electronic artist keith fullerton whitman performs his solo guitar with electronics project.
“whitman gradually folds in additional layers and hints of counterpoint, from organ-like chords, soft bells, and an assortment of subtle glitches; and then harsh chords creep in. from there it’s a steady plow into dissonance, as sheets of noise are piled on and most traces of pleasantness are left behind” mark richardson, pitchfork media.
in this fully improvised solo performance mike cooper plays lap steel guitar combined with field recordings, electronics and voice to accompany a backdrop of his own recent super eight film works.
