Club Zho 63 will feature Tujiko Noriko, a Japanese artist at the forefront of abstract-pop. Tujiko's unique brand of Japanese electro pop features uniquely branded cut-up electronics, sweet vocal harmonies and distorted lullaby aesthetics.
Tujiko Noriko was born in Osaka and now resides in Paris. As an independent artist she makes music with numerous subtle layers, a kind of digital avant-pop, with laptop, largely Japanese lyrics and sweet vocal harmonies.
Selling out a previous Australian appearance at the 2004 What Is Music? in Brisbane, Tujiko Noriko’s performance at Club Zho is one not to be missed!
Also on the zho 63 bill is Japanese artist Makiko Kageyama who is currently residing in Perth.
