Presenting elements of their own solo work in new ensemble settings as well as new group devised pieces, Windstrokes provides a rich tapestry of musical experience.

William Barton is widely recognized as one of Australia’s finest traditional didgeridoo players and is credited with bringing the instrument into the realm of classical music.

Iain Grandage
Renowned for his compositional work in theatre and across the orchestral world Iain Grandage also performs with cello and beats band wood, accompanies über-diva MeowMeow and moonlights with the Australian Art Orchestra and WASO.

Mel Robinson’s music transcends a musical style creating an extraordinary journey of word and sound. Mixing cello, voice, percussion and electronics, Mel’s music is at times funky and playful, at times soulful and haunting, but always unforgettable.
