the totally huge new music festival needs you!
In 2005 tura new music presents the 7th totally huge new music festival. the festival is based in perth and held over 17 fantastic days. featuring artists from around the world, totally huge is already recognised as a major new music event internationally. with concerts, installations, radio projects, workshops and masterclasses, this new format festival will draw on the success of the past and forge new directions for the future.
however… the events cannot be held without the help of volunteers. we need you to lend a hand… to set up and take down installations, prepare venues before concerts, man exhibitions for the duration of the festival and get the artists from place to place. in return you get to experience the sounds of the festival and be a part of something huge!

…do you have an appetite for hearing ruined pianos? well, ross bolleter is joined by artists from around the world for the first ever ruined piano convergence!
…if you have a craving for a conference, you are in luck! 2005 is the inaugural totally huge conference – presented in association with waapa@ecu it is a weekend of presentations, forums and artist talks.
…or perhaps the sound culture exhibition will leave your mouth watering, featuring wa artists rob muir, cat hope, alan lamb, kieran stewart and more!
