Duo Vertigo is a leading Dutch/Australian Percussion Duo who’s Australian Tour “The Duyfken Percussion Project” is supported by the Dutch Government to celebrate 400 years of Dutch/Australian history.
World-renowned percussionists, Claire Edwardes and Niels Meliefste, Duo Vertigo will present solo and duo percussion works commissioned by them from composers around the world. Up and coming young percussionist Claire Edwardes has been based in the Netherlands ever since she won the Sydney Australia Young Performer of the Year in 1999. She has since been awarded the Freedman Fellowship for Classical Music in 2005.
