The Australian Art Orchestra is Australia’s premiere contemporary music ensemble mining the rich ground between jazz and classical traditions and between western and non-western music. AAO initiated the Crossing Roper Bar project in 2005 and have fostered its development in Ngukurr, Melbourne, Garma and Brisbane.
