Seaworthy (SYD / 12k)
Seaworthy was formed in early 2000 to explore melodic and experimental approaches to the construction and unravelling of minimalist soundscapes from looped guitar, warm drones, piano, electronics and field recordings. Seaworthy performs in Perth for the first time to launch the beautiful new album, 1897, out through New York’s increasingly influential 12k label.
Paul Fiocco (Solo Andata / 12k / Meupe)
The first solo performance in Perth for some time from Paul Fiocco, one half of Solo Andata (12k/Hefty). Fiocco will be launching his debut solo album, Torsions & Drifts, out through Meupe at this performance.
M. Rösner (Apestaartje / Meupe)
Local minimal sound artist M. Rösner performs new material written in collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Greg Taw (The Ghost of 29 Megacycles).
