Over the last twenty years Francisco López has developed an astonishing sonic universe, absolutely personal and iconoclastic, based on a profound listening of the world. Destroying boundaries between industrial sounds and wilderness sound environments, shifting with passion from the limits of perception to the most dreadful abyss of sonic power.
Boo Chapple is a media artist whose work addresses the uncanny body - working on this subject across a number of different mediums including radio, film, sound performance and installation. Boo is completing a residency at the Symbiotica art and science research laboratory at the University of Western Australia.
