Get ready for the new sounds of the new generation in a special night featuring music by David Howell, Rachael Dease, Nela Trifkovic, James Lee, Jenny O’Connor and Robert Thorpe, performed by Perth’s new Avant Guardians Ash Randomly and the Bent Nail String Quartet.
New works for string quartet by James Lee and Jenny O’Connor. Stuart James’s new multimedia work "Oblivion and the Hidden Quest" for strings, guitar, percussion, voice and live electronic manipulations, as well as Nela Trifkovic’s new experimental music theatre/dance work "C’mon my Pretty", featuring texts by James Rees.
To cap it all off, brand spankin’ new works by Robert Thorpe, Rachael Dease and Hannah Clemen will make this Zho an exciting and multifaceted look into the current goings on among Perth’s up-and-coming composers.
