Since 1987 Tura has recorded thousands of hours of new music activities in Perth and across the state. These include both audio and video material as well as writings for and about those activities. This represents a massive cultural asset to both the State and the Nation.
Several cataloguing projects led into a formal research project in 2010, partnered with WAAPA @ ECU, researching and quantifying the WA New Music Archive.
