Another major new music event commences this coming weekend with the world premiere of Into the Shimmer Heat - the new opera by David Pye, Lee Buddle and Phil Thomson. With a stellar cast of Sara Macliver, Fiona Campbell and Sofie Burgoyne; Danielle Micich - choreographer, Jo Foley & Ian Tregonning - puppetry and songwriter/performer Anthony Cormican ....there's much anticipation ahead of this new West Australian work.
